Expressions of interest: 2025 Tour Down Under and Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race

AusCycling is taking expressions of interest from UCI WorldTour-level cyclists and those on the cusp of the UCI WorldTour to represent the ARA Australian Cycling Team at the Santos Tour Down Under and Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race in 2025.

These races are being considered as an upper pathway activity with a high priority on under-23 riders who are currently competing in UCI registered teams, as well as drawing on a combination of experienced and emerging professionals.

• • Santos Tour Down Under: January 17–26
  • Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race: January 29–February 2
• Commitment: Riders must be available for event preparation, team strategy sessions, and race participation.
• Eligibility:
• • Current professional riders to perform the role as team leader/mentors (only riders from trade teams not participating in the 2025 Santos Tour Down Under or Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race);
  • Emerging professional riders (in a UCI registered team for 2025 that is not participating; rider is within the first year(s) of UCI contract;
  • Ability to perform a team support role (with reference to stages in the 2025 Santos Tour Down Under and/or Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race);
  • Ability to achieve stage and/or general classification results (with reference to stages in 2025 Santos Tour Down Under and/or Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race).

Riders wishing to be considered for selection must submit their expression of interest by 9pm AEDT on Thursday, November 28.

Note: EOI process is subject to Santos Tour Down Under team invitation.
