Four young talents have been selected to the ARA Australian Cycling Team for the 2027 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in Ostend, Belgium from January 29–31.
The quartet have all earned back-to-back CX Worlds selections after making their debut in Hulst at the 2026 event.
First-year under-23 riders Hayden Vimpani, Alana Fletcher and Alicia Reynolds are joined by Oliver Grande in the junior ranks.
The AusCycling National Selection Panel received no expressions of interest in the elite categories.
Vimpani, who will celebrate his 18th birthday next week, has continued to develop during the Australian CX season.
In August, the Melburnian won the U23 national title at the 2026 AusCycling Cyclo-cross National Championships in Ballarat and sealed the elite national series overall crown on the following day.

The Taradale rider was also part of the ARA Australian Cycling Team at the 2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in late August.
U23 women teammate, Reynolds, made the decision to step up to the elite category domestically this season.
The Perth-based 18-year-old has enjoyed the leap, claiming the elite national series overall after winning the final round and collecting a silver medal at CX Nats.

Like Fletcher, 17-year-old Grande, donned the green and gold for UCI MTB Worlds and will do the same in Ostend.
The Canberran took on CX Worlds as a first-year junior in Hulst and finished 56th.
Vimpani will be the first Australian to start on Saturday, January 30, with Fletcher, Reynolds and Grande racing on Sunday, January 31.
