Six Australians will represent the ARA Australian Cycling Team at the 2025 UCI Gravel World Championships in the Netherlands from October 11−12.
UCI Gravel World Series winner Nicole Frain will lead a strong trio of Australians in the elite women’s field in South Limburg.
Joining the Tasmanian is gravel national champion Tiffany Cromwell and West Australian Cassia Boglio.
Cromwell finished eighth overall in the Gravel World Series while Boglio finished just outside the top 10.
Three Aussies will also take their place on the start line in the elite men's category.
2023 gravel national champion Connor Sens returns to the squad for his third Gravel World Championships, while Canberra’s Tom Chester and Declan Irvine from New South Wales are back for their second.
Thirty-nine Australians will also compete in the age group categories.
2025 UCI Gravel World Championships covers a mix of gravel roads, forest paths, country lanes and challenging climbs, passing iconic locations such as Wijnandsrade Castle, Vaeshartelt country estate, and the Sint Hubertusmolen windmill.
The women’s course covers 131km while the men race over a 181km distance.
The team was selected according to AusCycling’s selection policies.
